TERMS & CONDITIONS (COMPETITION RULES)

‍This Competition is conducted by Eikestad Mall (the “Promoter”). These Terms and Conditions regulate the Competition. By your free will and voluntary participation in this Competition, you (the “Participant”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. These Competition Rules (Terms and Conditions) will govern all facets of your relationship with the Competition and the Promoter. The Competition Terms and Conditions can only be updated by the Promoter in writing, by posting on https://www.facebook.com/  

1. This Competition will run from 10 September 2026 to 31 October 2026 (the “Competition Period”). 2. You may enter as a Participant only if you are a legal citizen and/or resident of the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 (eighteen) years or over. 3. No person who is a director, employee, staff member, tenant or agent of (or consultant to) the Promoter or who is a spouse, life partner, relative, family member, business partner or associate of a director, employee, staff member or agent of (or a consultant to) the Promoter is eligible to participate in or enter this Competition, and such person(s) will immediately be disqualified should such a relationship become apparent. 4. To enter the Competition and be eligible to win a Prize, you must purchase products or goods during the Competition Period for an amount of R250,00 (VAT inclusive) or more at any one of Eikestad Mall’s shops and complete an entry form. The entry form is online. You must go to www.eikestadmall.co.za to complete the form. Upload a clear scan or photo of your valid till slip, which indicates the date and amount of the purchase. You must keep your original till slip. The winner will be required to show the qualifying till slip. Only one till slip totalling R250,00 or more is permitted per entry, and not multiple till slips making up the R250,00. 5. You may enter as many times as you like. You must fill in the details of a different purchase (shop name, date, amount) and upload and keep the till slip each time you enter. 6. You must complete your entry form online before 18h00 on 31 October 2026. No late entries will be accepted. 7. One (1) winner will be selected by an electronic random number generator from all the entries received by 11 November 2026. The entry corresponding with the number generated will be the winning entry of the competition. 8. The Prize is R10 000,00 worth of shopping vouchers (VAT included), redeemable for purchases of Health or Beauty products at the relevant Eikestad Mall shop only. 9. The vouchers are not transferable, refundable, negotiable or redeemable for cash. 10. It is an optional condition of entry that you as Participant agree to receiving future correspondence from the Promoter by email and/or SMS or to opt out from future promotional communications not related to this competition. Anyone who has opted in can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by contacting the Promoter or by following the unsubscribe link or instructions on any future communication. Personal information that the Promoter holds of you, will be used and safeguarded in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013. 11. Winners may be asked to have their photo taken and used for promotional purposes, without compensation, but may decline to do so. 12. Entries that are illegible, incomplete, damaged or defaced will be deemed invalid. No photocopied entries will be accepted. The online form is the only valid means of entry. 13. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for entries lost, delayed or damaged. Entries reflected on the Promoter’s records will be treated as the only validation source and will be the only evidence of successful entry. 14. The awarding of the Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions not mentioned here, but in accordance with relevant South African legislation. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if the original Prize becomes unavailable for any unforeseen reason. 15. Under no circumstances will the Promoter or its successors, employees, officers, suppliers, contractors, agents, consultants, directors and shareholders be liable for any losses, claims, proceedings, actions, damages, (direct, consequential or otherwise), liability, demands, expenses, legal costs (on an attorney and own client basis), medical costs or other costs, howsoever arising out of, based upon, or in connection with (directly or indirectly) the Competition, to the maximum extent permitted by law. 16. If you contravene any of these Competition Rules (Terms & Conditions), you may, at the Promoter’s discretion, be disqualified from the Competition. 17. The Prize winner will be notified telephonically. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to messages by 16h00 on the fifth (5th) day after the draw, or declines the Prize, then their Prize will be forfeited, and another Participant will be drawn as a winner. In total, a maximum of three potential winners will be drawn and attempted to be contacted. 18. The Prize winner will be required to present a valid identity document and slip before receipt of the Prize. 19. The Promoters’ decision is final and binding, and no correspondence or negotiations will be entered into. 20. The laws of the Republic of South Africa govern this Promotional Competition. 21. Participants in the Competition understand and agree that in order to offer the Competition, the Promoter must collect and use personal information about Participants, but the collection and use thereof by the Promoter will be subject to the provisions of the POPIA. 22. Cancellation: The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Competition. In such an event, where the Competition is cancelled or suspended, Participants agree to  waive any rights that they may have in terms of the Competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against the Promoter, its employees, agents, consultants, partners, suppliers and sponsors. 23. By entering this Competition, you accept and agree to these Competition Rules (Terms and Conditions). Furthermore, you verify that you are unaware of any reason legally prohibiting you from entering this Competition.
